Interview with Deutsche Welle: Spotlight on Digital Den's Success
Co-founders of Digital Den and members of the Board of directors, Darko Ivanovic and Nenad Novovic, were interviewed by Deutsche Welle (DW), Germany's international public broadcaster. Additionally, our executive director, Jonie Oostveen, joined the interview directly from Chicago.
Digital Den, as portrayed by Deutsche Welle, is seen as a prime example of a small wonder from the Balkans, and we proudly highlighted our achievements over the past two years from the MTSB project including Acceleration and Soft landing programs, pre-seed investments totaling over 3 million euros, our portfolio of nearly 30 startups from the Western Balkans, an Advisory Board predominantly composed of experts from the USA, to the establishment of the first fully private venture capital fund - Balkan Tech Fund, and much more. Next milestone in our journey - engaging a foreign executive director in Montenegro, is a rarity that attracts attention.
This interview underscores our increasing influence and recognition on the international stage, particularly in the EU media landscape. By capturing the attention of global media brands (following Voice of America), we further solidify our position as a key player in the regional, innovative, and startup ecosystem.
