A workshop titled "Network of All Mobility Actors" organized by Digital Den as part of the hashtag#SOFTMOVE project, was held yesterday at the University of Donja Gorica, Preduzetnistvo.me. The event brought together experts from Montenegro, Italy, and Albania to exchange experiences and discuss advancements in urban mobility. 🛰️
The hashtag#SOFTMOVE project is conducted within the framework of the Interreg IPA South Adriatic program, in partnership with DTA Distretto Tecnologico Aerospaziale scarl from Italy and ASIG - Autoriteti Shtetëror i Informacionit Gjeohapësinor from Albania and aims to strengthen sustainable and climate-resilient mobility in the region through cooperation between the three countries. ♻️
The workshop gathered over 40 participants and facilitated the exchange of experiences between project consortium partners who presented their institutions- Mario Leonardo Erario 🇮🇹, Belina Belortaja 🇦🇱 and Nina Milic 🇲🇪 as well as other representatives from Montenegrin institutions, universities, and startups.
The event was opened by Slađana Pešić, the National Contact Point for the implementation of the Interreg IPA South Adriatic program in Montenegro, and Sanja Bečanović, from the Directorate for Financing and Contracting EU Assistance Funds at the Ministry of Finance. In the session dedicated to the academic perspective on drone applications, participants heard from Dr. Trifun Savic, Prof. Dr. Sonila Sinjari from the University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Giuseppe Tassielli from the Università degli Studi di Bari and Prof. Dr. Paolo Lino from the Politecnico di Bari. 📚
A part of the workshop was dedicated to regulatory frameworks and practical applications of drones, featuring contributions from Snežana Nikčević from NVO "35mm", who spoke about regulations in Montenegro, and Stefan Vukčević from the Montenegrin company Prokom, who presented drone applications in marketing. Prof. Dr. Alikaj Perparim from the EIT Raw Materials Regional Innovation Center of Albania discussed the use of airborne geophysics in mineral exploration. 🔍
At the end of the event, Digital Den startups DigiGrow Ltd Darko Šolar, Allerty Marko Boskovic, and FinalFind Dražen Stojović presented their innovative solutions in technology and mobility, while the Italian startup Flying Demon Piergiorgio Fusco showcased drone applications across various industries. 🚀
The workshop concluded with a message emphasizing the importance of collaboration between academic, business, and governmental actors as a key to further developing sustainable transport solutions and advanced technologies.
Participants expressed their readiness to continue cooperation and work on innovative solutions that could significantly improve mobility in the region and beyond. 🤝
