Second investment in DD portfolio

One more startup from our portfolio received an investment!

The Badger MNE, from the first generation of our portfolio, received a significant investment from the company Glosarij thanks to the Law on Incentive Measures for the Development of Research and Innovation.

Badger is a wearable digital device which belongs to the field of portable technologies that allows the user to improve business networking and new ways of personal and corporate branding. It holds patents in several categories and is the future of the organization of conferences and fairs, a pillar of the hospitality industry.

Like all startups that are part of the Digital Den Hub, Badger went from concept, idea development, prototype creation, evaluation, business model to successful application in the Register of Innovative Activities of Montenegro.

We congratulate the founder and the investors!

Thanks to the investment and a move of the company Glosarij, which believes in the potential of this innovative idea, Badger will continue its development during the next year, be placed on the market and therefore be part of the creation of a new industry in Montenegro.

Our fifth cohort is announced

The ideas were pitched, the decisions made – and we have our winners!The final day of our Pre-Acceleration Program, held at the Naučno-tehnološki park Crne Gore / Science Technology Park of Montenegro, brought together everything that defines a strong startup community: dedication, knowledge, support, and teams ready for the next chapter.Startups presented their ideas in front of a live audience and a jury made up of representatives from the EBRD, the U.S. Embassy, the program’s lead mentor Stephan Botz, and the Digital Den team. Together, they selected our fifth startup cohort.The title of the most promising startups goes to:3DLoom, YachtHe, Valifiy, Pet Travel Advisor, SYSQBIT LLC, Benefiti and WhereToPark.Next up: the MTSB Europe program and more opportunities in Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands.Demo Day welcomed a wide range of voices from Montenegro’s startup scene — from ministries and banks to universities, funds, and support organizations.Thank you to everyone who supported the event through their active engagement — and congratulations to all startups for their courage, commitment, and vision.A special thanks to the EBRD for supporting the organization of the program and helping strengthen collaboration across the ecosystem.

Demo Day around the corner

The final day of the Digital Den Pre-Acceleration Program is around the corner! In just one day, teams from our latest program will pitch their startup ideas to mentors, investors, and key players from the innovation ecosystem at the Science Technology Park of Montenegro.Demo Day marks the culmination of months of hard work — from product development and market validation to preparing for the next stage of growth. During the event, the audience and jury will have the chance to help select the most promising teams that will join our 5th startup cohort.At Digital Den, we believe that change doesn’t just happen — it’s built step by step, through knowledge, dedication, and the right opportunities. And Demo Day is exactly that: a space where ideas are recognized and given the chance to move forward.A special thanks to EBRD for recognizing the value of this program and making its implementation possible through their support.

Meeting with Commercial Law Development

Digital Den team had the pleasure of welcoming representatives of the Commercial Law Development Program under the U.S. Department of Commerce as part of their official visit to Montenegro.We discussed the importance of legal certainty, institutional support, and strategic partnerships in fostering the growth of startup and innovation ecosystems — with a special emphasis on strengthening regional ties and international collaboration.As a result, concrete steps for cooperation were agreed upon in areas aligned with Commercial Law Development Program’s core expertise, which can bring meaningful benefits to Digital Den through access to knowledge, experience, and support mechanisms relevant to our mission — both in Montenegro and beyond.
